Review of Oliver Twist
Oliver Twist , one of the most famous novels , reflected on the miserable reality in the 18th century which was released in 1838 as the first time.
The hero of the novel Oliver Twist is a miserable orphan , who was born in an environment filled with poverty and crime. What was worse , living with some cruel people , the little kid Oliver Twist suffered a great pain ,including hunger , coldness , abuse , loneliness and so on. However , in spite of these great sufferings , Oliver Twist never threw himself into the crime such as telling lies and stealing and so on .Instead he met lots of king people like Mr. Brownlow , who was a really old people , and gave lots of sincere help to the little boy. To my relief , finally Oliver Twist’ goodness had conquered the devil and crime with the help of the other kind people , and he led a happy life in the end.
Although the litter boy Oliver Twist had experienced great sufferings, he could still get himself out of the dilemma. Actually, the reason why he could achieve it was the natural goodness he owned. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. From my personal perspective, the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary characters for a person, with which we can overcome any miracles and keep ourselves in the way to achieve our goals, and we are capable of living a happy life that we have looked forward to.
